My delphiniums are flowering now but the center stalk is starting to fade. I'd like to save seeds from it but don't know what to look for. Also "they" say to cut back the faded stalk to produce more flowers, if I do that then I won't get seeds right?
Any help?
Jen
Delphinium what when where?
I wait until the seed heads turn brown but the stem is still green. The seed heads are kind of similar to a columbines and you will easily find the seed I promise. The seed is bigger then columbine seed and easy to spot. Go for it!!!
