Fancy Face is really neat, and I love the teeth on Raptor.

Fancy Face! It looks magnificent. How floriferous is it, pelletory?

Schroon Lake, NY(Zone 4a)

I've had my eye on Fancy Face for awhile. Your picture is fabulous. Is it very tender?

Marlton, NJ

Its a new plant for me and this is only its second bloom. I love it and hope its a very good performer. It made it through last winter just fine.

We had another 3.2 inches of rain yesterday and last night. That brings the total since Saturday night to 7.4, and it's already rained this morning and looks threatening. A lot of the dayliles that normally have no trouble holding up their scapes are hanging near the ground. I rushed out after the first shower this morning to take a shot of theFFO on J T Davis and Martina Verhaert. First is J T.

FFO Clothed in Glory. What causes the spots? This is the first time that I have grown daylilies since moving from Louisiana to Tennessee. All of my daylilies are first for me. I had over 80 diffrent named ones in LA but none of the ones I have here. The new ones seem not to be as bright. Is it because of being in a diffrent zone or just the choices I made to grow here?

The rain getting into the bud most probably causes the spots. I think this is supposed to be our only dry day here.

Hillsdale, MI(Zone 5b)

Thrips also cause spotting and make me really grumble at times.

Just this morning I heard about the use of beneficial insects to control thrips and other baddies. The products are Minute Pirate Bugs(Orius) and Amblyseius Cucumeris. Type " Beneficlal Insects" into your browser for more info.

Gingerjar, are the winds kicking there also? We were mostly dry yesterday after the 5.5 inches of rain we recieved the day before. We had a little rain last night but wasn't much. Everythig is soaked and I have to keep picking pots up from the winds. The rain was much needed.

Fancy face is striking as well as Raptor Rap.

I will start off with an Unknown today.

Orange Electric, This is a bonus I recieved. When I looked up pics, I wasn't impressed but it has won me over in a hurry. Two fans and lots of scapes. The darn thing has been blooming almost since I had recieved it over a month ago and still has lots of buds coming.
