What's Blooming June 23?

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

I just finally figured out I typed 23 instead of 22! Sorry. Maybe tomorrow we can call it 22 and really get everyone confused. You probably have all figured out by now that I can't type, spell or keep the days straight. I'm seeing lots of new posibilities for my new daylily bed. Sure like Rocky Mountain Twilight.

So you have a new daylily bed. That's what I need for sure!

Brown City, MI(Zone 5a)

BITSY has been blooming for a couple weeks, but that's been it. I now I am starting to see a couple blooms each day.

Today it's PIRATES PROMISE. Huge 7" blooms that are attention getters.

Really the new bed will be in my neighbors yard. No more room in mine. LOL! When I get her yard full, I may just have to keep going on down the block and begging for more room.

Susan I love Roainbow Over Georgia. It looks like a mixed container of sherbert ice cream.

I wonder if Pirate's promise and Pirate's Lady are related. The colors look pretty similar.

I was curious too, so looked it up.

PIRATES LADY & PIRATES PROMISE are both J. Salter intros.

but "Pirates Lady" has unknown parentage.

Here's the parentage of "Pirates Promise"

Great looking seedling. So many gorgeous DLs today. I may have to get 'Rainbow Over Georgia' since I was born in Georgia.

My Dad was from West Virginia, and so far I have 'Hillbilly Heart' for him, and Red Grace for my Mom.

Another wonderful day. Seems like we're getting more variation now and LOVE seeing the garden pics.

Edgewater, MD(Zone 7a)

Don I was really looking forward to the doubling, love em and Thanks.

mgh-MK is really a beauty and a real nice texture to the petals too. I have a bunch of those little garden buddies. I think I have at least one in each bed, You will NOT hear me complain.

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Nice to see so many new ones getting blooms now. In a couple more years this group should be able to do so many trades no one should ever need to buy again. The nice thing about Rainbow Over Georgia is that you can find it for $10. Just goes to show that there are a lot of really nice older and affordable ones.

So many beauties here! Walter Reineke (sp?) is unique with the pinched petals...
What is a good follow up flower for daylilies? I love the way my first daylilies are opening just as my last irises are folding. And the irises follow the tulips...So what follows daylilies? Asters?

Springfield, OH(Zone 5b)

ack.. Rainbow over Georgia is only $10? ruhroh
