Bergia daisy(sp?)
oops! Gerbera Daisy, can you start from seed?
They can be grown from seed. They'll be an annual in your area though so it's probably a bit too late in the year to start them now, Plant Files directions say to start indoors before the last frost.
Thank you, ecrane3!
I have had very good sucess with over wintering gerbras ,and I'm in 7b,I always cut the flowers and most of the taller follage off ,then cover with compost, and scatter pine needles kinda thick, and rake it back after the last frost, and they grow larger every year. What I need to know is how to do a stem cutting to propagate a new plant.I have some beautiful colors I would like to increace.Mike
