WS pics

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6a)

I finally managed to hobble out to my yard on my walker to take some pics. There is nicotiana everywhere but they're not WS. They're all self sown from last year.

The first breadseed poppy popped today

Poppies WS very well. This was my first year WS so I am no expert, and mine did great. You might want to check with someone from a warmer climate about when to sow in your area. I did mine early, like Jan. and Feb. mostly.

Hi, This was my first year at winter sowing and I finally got some poppies .A few other things too but I could never grow poppies, so I am very proud of mine. This one is my favorite. I will be planting lots of these this winter!!

Plantzoo, that's terrifically encouraging! I love poppies but when I buy them, they don't seem to do well, i.e. they DIE. This winter, absolutely!
