Lovely looking garden, sanannie. So tranquil. Looks like your blooms are going full out in White Lake. WTG!

This is a newbie for me - a Gas Plant - Dictamnus albus (says Lois Hole)- just found last year. Currently about 18 inches high. The flowers are said to emit a aflammable oil and a lit match just below a blossom will ignite the oil. Have'nt tried that yet!
Heavily scented. A long lived - up to 20 years - perennial that will grow into a small bush.
Been very quiet here the last few days. I have nothing spectacular to show, but did get around to taking a few pictures this weekend.
Here's my lilies. These are just the small potted lilies that you buy at the grocery store. After they sort of died off, I just plunked them in the ground and they are mulitplying very rapidly, and I love them!!!
Euryops. I love this plant, especially because the deer won't eat it!!!
But beware: Last week I deadheaded it, and just put the spent flowers in a garbage bag. Came in the house, washed my hands. Somehow, a little while later, my hands were rubbing my eyes, or brushed my eyes, and WOW!!! I had one eye that stung and swelled up, and lasted for 2 days. I read afterwards that they are actually poisonous, so I guess I will be very careful next time.
am enjoying this thread, such beautiful gardens!
It's always so nice to 'visit' with other gardeners...

Great photos and lovely blossoms, ggd. Thanks for sharing. I guess after your experience with Euryops, we know why the deer don't eat it!!
Don
ggd your place it lovely as usual.
Nice to have a tour of so many gardens, with out having to travel far at all.
Linda
Don, I will certainly be a lot more careful around the euryops now!!!! But at least I know I DO have something the deer won't eat!!! We have 3 new babies around this year and they go through quite often. But I seem to have found a deterrent. I mix up a spray of water, egg, and garlic and spray whatever I dont' want them to eat. They haven't touched anything yet, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I even did the tulips after they stripped them down, and they came back and grew and bloomed. Tulips are a no no for my yard anymore, and I am trying to put in things that the deer don't like. Seems to be working so far!
Hi LInda! Nice to hear from you. Hope you are doing well.

Lovely photos, ginnylynn. You garden is very impressive. Love those black Pansies and that gorgeous begonia.
