Dutchman pipevine

Niceville, FL(Zone 8b)

My dutchman pipevine is already blooming. Last year, I had a bunch of seedpods but the weather did not quite hold up till maturity. I am hoping that the early blooms will get me early seedpods.

What a beaut!

I like that. Will have to look the plant up. Might be interesting in my yard. Thanks for sharing.

Calvin, I am in 8b also (actually the cusp of 8a and 8b) and it does extremely well here. Flowers continously. Draws a lot of attention. I have never fertilized it and it is somewhat drought tolerant.

Great plant! I will definitely be on the look out for this plant. I also sit on the cusp of 8a & 8b. It really depends on who's chart you look at. lol

And drought tolerant......... fantastic.

It will be added to my want list

Love that flower. I have some smaller varieties. I think I need to try this one!
