I have quite a few different honeysuckles, mostly scented, but are some scented in the day and some the evening?
We have one down near the patio, which for the first time this year has flowered beautifully, however during the day I can't smell it, yet when we were sat there over the last couple of evenings, by 10 p.m. it was beautiful and strong.
Can anyone recommend one that is scented during that day time?

I have Lonicera Halls Prolific which seems to release it's perfume p.m. dependent on how sunny it is. I've seen Humming Bird Hawk moths on mine in the late morning/early afternoon. You tend to notice the perfume more towards mid afternoon, but, it must be releasing fragrance to attract the moths.
Information on this seems to be scant. Try visiting a garden centre a.m. to see if you can sniff some plants out.
