My favorite is the Androsace. Every bit of it is so healthy and beautiful.
Very nice! That saxifraga looks amazing already. I was staggered by the flower on mine. Tulips too - even this late!
Great pics! What's the secret for getting your Silene to bloom like that? I got a couple meager little blooms on mine this year but nothing like that.
That Delphinium is another one I'll have to try for sure. Only 8" tall and a stunning blue to boot.
Ally, Silene acaulis is native to Newfoundland, albeit about 500 miles north of me. I grow it in the poorest of gravel with just a hint of peat....it seems to perfer NO nutrients and excellent drainage.
