Yes it's worked. That is an apple tree but it works on my peach tree too. Now if it just scared off the Japanese beetles...

This year I'll try that kaolin clay spray "Surround" to keep the beetles off. Hope it works...

I find that aluminum pie plates are helpful in scaring off robins from my black raspberries and blackberries. I don't put them out until fruit is nearly ripe so as to not let them get used to them ahead of time. I hang them on a foot long string.
