a visit to a local iris garden

Hi everyone! I've been so busy with the end of school activities here (I'm a teacher's aide in an elementary school) AND trying to get the garden all spiffy as things start to bloom so I haven't posted much lately. I recently visited a few iris gardens in my area in the company of two of my daylily club cohorts who also happen to be iris afficionados too! I took tons of pictures and wanted to share some them with you. This garden had TONS of the most beautiful healthy HUGE iris flowers I have ever seen. As soon as I got home I started tilling up more lawn lol! I should add that this was a very sunny day so some of the shots are over exposed and I may have some of the iris misslabeled as sometimes it was hard to tell which marker went with which flower. If there is no name on the photo it means I couldn't find the marker.

Susan those are gorgeous I WANT THEM ALL! Oops I have to control myself i'm running out of room but they are so pretty how can you pick just one. Thanks for the pictures I'll try to control my addiction. First daylilies, then iris, then.... I think I'm hopeless.

I have bad news mgh (lol) the names are on the photos. It is confusing though so I'll post the names of the rest in the text. You should see the want list I have now from going to visit all these gardens!!
