can anyone reccommend a good bush fruit for zone 7

I want to dig my ornamentals and replace them with something edible any suggestions?

The list is so long that maybe you can shorten it by looking at some sites and asking about things that suit your tastes. there are literally dozens and dozens of plants you could enjoy. It depends on your tastes (it wouldn't do any good to grow cherries if you don't like them) and your land. If you go to Google and type in "edible landscaping" you'll get lots of suggestions. Or, you can wait for suggestions and eliminate them.

I'll start off by recommending filberts. Small tree, few bugs, dependable crops. Lots of them used to grow in Puyallup out Pioneer. They did real well, but they can't compete for land with your prices.
