What's blooming in Canada #2

Victoria, BC(Zone 8b)

Beautiful Rhodos. It must be a good year all over for Rhodos, they were very impressive here too, till the rains came and almost broke my bush to bits. The branches are starting to bounce back now though.

Carol, your secret garden is beautiful this year, as always of course. I just love your C.Josephine and your Cranberry Ice Iris.

Hi Christine,
Thanks.
The Josephine is climbing up the arbour that you helped put up.

Very few apple blossoms this spring..but last year the trees were loaded with blooms. At least I won't have so many apples to clean up this fall.
Aren't the dwarf lilacs wonderful the fragrance is so much stronger than the standard ones.

I am waiting to see my pink poppie open..the reds are in full bloom now.
Happy Gardening,

Cheers,
Carol

I haven't been on much for at least a week and when I checked this thread now, there's SO many new photos! I'm going to be getting a camera of my own this fall so I'll be able to take as many photos as I want! YAY! And, instead of typing a zillion little comments, I'm just going to say I LOVE ALL YOUR PICS! Everyones gardens look great!
Since I can't take any pics of my own I'll just say what's on stage now in my yard - Oriental Poppy 'Brilliant', a gorgeous perennial salvia(name unknown), Daylily H. flava(gorgeous scent and they seem to like shade which is A+), canadian columbine, meadow rue, rock rose, shasta dasies and soon some annuals I direct sowed will be bursting into bloom. I have good hopes about this summer!
