I have a super producing semi dwarf plum tree, can I start another from a cutting? thankyou carol
can i start a plum tree from a cutting?
you could start another one from a cutting, but to keep it semi dwarf, you would need to graft it on to a dwarfing rootstock. A full sized plumb tree is pretty big. The one at my parents' old house was a good 10 ft taller than their single story house and about 25 ft wide. Sorry, I don't know how long it would take to start producing, or even how to graft or what rootstock to use, but maybe this will head you off in the right direction. Good luck!
