The Friends of the U. S. National Arboretum (FONA) will hold their annual Garden Fair & Plant Sale on Saturday, April 29, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Thousands of trees, shrubs, and flowers will be available as well as garden-related accessories from a series of boutique booths on the Arboretum’s New York Avenue parking lot. This Saturday plant sale is open to everyone free of charge. Ample free parking is available.
Plant experts will also be available to answer your questions and assist you with plant selection. There will be a large selection of garden-related items, free lectures, kids’ activities, and food vendors. The highly acclaimed Washington Revels singing group performs Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
There is a FONA members only sale from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 28. FONA will be accepting new memberships during the Friday sales. For further information about the Garden Fair and Plant Sale, contact FONA at 202-544-8614 or visit their web site at www.fona.org.

I haven't gone to this for years and years but it's a fabulous sale - lots of things you'd never find anywhere else. And if you've never been the the National Arboretum, you're in for a wonderful treat.
