This is a series of pictures taken of a Cardinal family that built a nest in my Duranta shrub. Enjoy, John.

Daddy keeping watch as always. Hope you enjoyed. John.

Forgot to mention the dates. Mommy started building the nest in early March. The eggs were laid @ March 29 2006. The eggs hatched on April 9, the day I got married in my back yard. The babies left yesterday April 17.

Thanks all. Everyone that came to wedding in the yard, loved seeing the babies in the nest, and the mom and dad Cardinals were very excited about showing off their kids. I didn't know how they would act with 35 people walking around, but they sat in a nearby bush, and let people get a look. It was real exciting. John.
