Is it just me or does anyone else have this problem?
On both rounds of sown seeds in peat pots, I've noticed mold growth on the pots right away. Do you think I might be keeping them too wet?
The seedlings seem to be doing okay, despite the mold. hmmm
Peat Pots and Mold
Can you describe the mold? Color, etc.?
I am off to work right now, but I will try to post some photos later today.
Thanks for responding.
Chances are it's soil algae, and not mold. It won't bother seeds or seedlings, and will likely disappear when the containers are fully opened. The worst that will happen is it will dry into a thin crust on top of the soil.
