LOL generic it was! It had a hot pink named petunia tag in it. Sheesh... how can I ever learn these names. Least I'm not color blind.
Most Fragrant Petunias...
Hi, I'm new to this site. I took people's recommendations. Growing in 12" pots on porch. My results, I found "Dreams Midnight" are the most fragrant. Followed by "Blue Daddy". I have 2 "Carpet Petunias" (white & lilac) they seem to have some scent, lots of flowers. I bought a 6 pack of mixed "Easy Wave" (pink, light pink, red & purple)-can't tell if much of a fragrance. I also bought the "Prism Sunshine", which has NO scent ! But it is a very sturdy, large flowered plant.
The most fragrant petunia I've grown has been Purple Pirouette Hybrid.
