Oooohhh, someone has a nice porch, and tulips!

Another great view from Wanda's yard!

Do you have any pusatilla in your bed's Wanda? They bloom in the same time frame-- I have p.vulgaris (3 colors--purple/white/red) I highly recommend them for spring color--they have great ferny foliage (which lasts) and the seed heads that follow the bloom look like something out of Dr.Seuss!

I have no where near the amount of bulbs you have going--but am determined to add more this fall--and plan work them in around some pulsatilla---they'll make great neighbors.

Wish I could post photos...but alas, no--bet they are in plantfiles tho'!

I love the blue on the house - very charming!

Thank you all for your comments. The crab apple was planted when we built by the best nursery in town. I entreated them to plant it farther from the house so the branches would not rub the porch roof. they assured me it would NEVER get that tall since it was a DWARF. HA! Notice the heavy trimming I have to do on it, but too pretty to cut down.

Pusatilla? No , I don't have any. I have about a dozen kinds of daffodils (buy 50 at a time at Walmart for the past 15 years) , multitudes of tulips in all colors, Hyacinths, crocus & other spring bulbs scattered all over the place.

Lots of spring perennials blooming too. The emerging daylilies & summer perennials will cover the fading foliage later. Pink & white old fashioned Bleeding Hearts & Fernleaf Bleeding Hearts are blooming in shady areas. I really enjoy the spring blue of Brunera, Bluebells, and lungwort. The columbines will be opening soon. 4 colors of big lilacs blooming--HOW I LOVE SPRING!
