On the Park Seed site, "Helleborus Pine Knot Strain. Single 2-inch blooms of white, yellow, pink, red, burgundy, gray, green, black, plus bicolors and spotted flowers on 18-inch plants".
Has anyone grown these here in Phoenix? Will they survive the summer?
Helleborus Pine Knot Strain
Those are yummy! Have no idea if they'll survive here or not?
Name it, I probably tried it, and I tried this one too.
I had Helleborus Corsicus which is said to be more tolerant of heat.
I am sad to say that it did not make it. I absolutely love helleborus but I think it is not that the soil it is not moist ot that I do not water. It is mainly the hot air that sucks the life out of plants including this one.
You might be luckier than I, and be able to grow these gorgeous plants.
Godd luck and good gardening
Rodica
