My Calliandra haematocephala is blooming! It has also gotten quite tall, am going to have to get a bigger trellis to tie it to! So pretty!

Yep, the big one on the trellis. Baker had quite a few of them when I was there a couple weeks ago...
(it has 3 open flowers and about 6 more buds!)

I had to go look up this one - I just have the Bajas. This might be what I need to spruce up the back yard. How pretty!
neat!
Awesome! I will be calling Baker's.
Baker's had a few on Sunday. Once again I was thwarted by the other half. It was too cold to sleep outside so I had to leave it behind...
Is this also called 'pink powder puff'? If so, I got one last spring at Baker's, planted it in the aviary. Would have done a lot better had it not been stepped on and smooshed by another rehabilitator when she was trying to help me catch a bird last summer :O It had one lonesome bloom about a month ago.
