Freesia are blooming

Phoenix, AZ

Just noticed them this morning. This is their second year coming back. The 1st year I pulled up quite a few because I thought they were weeds distributed by birds :(

Fabulous - my favorite flower - you can't beat the scent.

What about those Alstromeria - did you plant those from seeds, annuals or are they perrenials?

Very nice combo! I was wondering about the alstromeria as well.

Got the Alstromeria in a 1 gallon pot back in September, it was either Target or H.D.? They have bloomed non-stop :)

Freesias are the greatest, aren't they?

Wow Eileen! Yours are great!

They sure surprised me- they never did bloom last spring, and I'd completely forgotten what pretty colors they are- looks like the same as yours in the middle there! Not that it would matter that much even if they were colorless- the fragrance is so wonderful

Freesias are some of my favorite bulbs. You can rely of them year after year after year. You can by them in the store but the fragrance does not even come close.
Mine are blooming now too and it is a wonderful site.

Good gardening
