zinnia - persian carpet

Coeur D Alene, ID(Zone 5a)

Anyone grow this? Do you have any pictures? I just bought some seeds, but the pictures in seed catalogs never really show what the planty looks like. Also, any hints on growing it?
Thanks for the help!

zinnias dont like to get wet foliage, they get powdery mildew in my area. I Think there pretty easy , not shure about that one but it sounds like it will be bold colors.

tabasco that is a pretty good photo of Persian Carpet -- I've grown them before and they are varied.

I think the photograph overstates the intensity of the colors of Persian Carpet zinnias. What I have seen is much more muted, and in fact, more to my taste. A friend has grown this flower and I am trying it for the first time this year.

huh - thanks for the picture. They look more straggley than I thought - and smaller. I thought they'd be much shorter and compact. I don't know where to plant them now :)
Thanks for the advice!
