My gosh, I have no idea! It looks like a cross between an Amaryllis and a turnip!
Hope someone else is a little more helpful.... good luck!
That would be my take, PagenCat.
Looks like Elephant Ear to me
Looks like giant elephant ear to me too.
I thought it looked like a chocolate muffin. sam

Okay...I'm gonna admit...it did look like a chocolate cup cake :)
Dosen't look like my Elephant ears tho?
FK, this the Elephant Ear you get at wallyworld as a dormant bulb for $2, it's a little different from the one most commonly grown in ponds, I have them both planted together in the ground and there are subtle differences, but mainly this one doesn't run all to hog heaven like the other one.
I thought so too....trader said it was from a landscaper in the family suppossed to be a tall yucca....guess I"ll pot it up til it gets leaves and see............yucca dry, ee moist is my concern
