Hi There Everyone,
Looking for Isatis Tinctoria (blue woad) seeds or plants.
Any suggestions??????????
Thanks much,

Blue woad information
Richter's (http://www.richters.com) has woad seeds in its current catalog. They also have indigo and false indigo seeds. If you're interested in using the woad for dying, they all contain the same active chemical. It's a very messy process whichever plant you start from.
Woad is considered to be invasive in several states - it's banned in California - and if you're in one of those states most suppliers won't ship it to you.
Thank you for the information tardigrade.
Mostly wanted it because it sounded interesting, as I am into herbs.
Will check it out before I try to order, don't want an invasive.
Thank you,
oldpepper
