OY!! What a mess! Pick one:
1. 67 bazillion mini zinnia seeds blew out of a flour sifter with one
turn of the handle.
2. Vacumn cleaner got clogged and overheated and died.
3. Dogs slip (especially Mastiffs, and Pugs chasing Siamesees)
4. Mini Zinnia seeds do NOT wash out of sweaters, or wash cloths or
towels.
5 Washer overload valve gets jammed with mini zinnias, then overflows.
6. Everyone in DG has emailed me for some of my mini zinnias.
7. Did you know that mini zinis have oil in them? they are quite the floor
shiner item.
8. they hurt to pull out of the bottom of your foot when they get stuck into you.

CAUTION!! Never Use A Flour Sifter to Sift Flower Seeds
*going to clean the soda off the moniter*
OMG thanks for the warning and I'm ever so sorry. I am really roflmao here :)
Janis
I can't quit laughing!
Thanks for the warning. I don't need that kind of excitement in my life. So how are you going to clean them? Let us know so that we can avoid all the consequences.
Oh... no...., Sheri, does that mean I won't get my zinnia seeds? ^..^

What will I do?
ha..ha..I sent my sasbe yesterday.........well whenever you get them all
picked up.........I'll be waiting.
Bev
Oh for gods sake. Now I have to clean my monitor. someone blew
soda all over it and its bleary and sticky. good grief.
Note: The broom sweeps clean. But the seeds all stick into the
millions of broom things. whatever you call them. I pushed what
I thought was a pile onto the dust pan, and nothing went into it.
They are all electrostatically, magically, physically, caught into
the broom bristles. And, the broom bristles are black too.
Did you know that digging into the bristles of the broom , causes
injuries to your cuticles and under your nails? This is like some
weird form of torture. Why is this happening to me?
I will continue to work at getting the seeds out. I dare not wash the
broom and get the seeds wet and start them sprouting. Now I
am also beginning to understand why Mother Nature is so generous
with seeds and things. Because of incidents exactly like this.
Bev: The longer you know me the more you will find I am exactly like
Horton the Elephant.
When you all get the **&^) seeds, just pick out any stray dog hairs,
horse hairs, cat hairs, turtle hairs. Or leave them in as green manure.
Regards,
sheri
Hi Sheri,
Got the seeds yesterday....thanks so much. I am going to plant some today and put them in my mini greenhouses. I am so anxious to see them in bloom. There were no horse, cat, or dog hairs, did find some turtle hairs though...=^..^= Thanks again, Bev
I don't mean to laugh @ your misfortune or pain but that was quite cute. It really sounds like something that would happen to me. My luck is terrible not to mention my clumsiness. I worked with a guy who called me the poster child for bad luck. After he would come and see me something would happen to him like a flat tire or a blown engine.
Roflmao!!!!!
achoogardner. I love it.
Last night I begged DG to let me choose a more appropriate
user name than swilliams8251. My husband was standing
right there and he said, "yeah, like choose 'blooming idiot'."
He then suggested 'seedy' which i like a lot. but blooming idiot
is quite the name isn't it? LOLOL.
I am so glad you enjoyed my story. I have lots of stories.
And, I enjoy to share them with everyone!.
Hang in there, and dont let go!
sheri
sheri - with luck like that you have to be one of my numerous ex-wives (how is I could have forgottin excatly which one)?
Sheri.. Don't worry about getting the seeds out of the broom!! Just plant the broom.... Who knows what might come UP.
Jerry.
Plant the broom!! Wait till I do this! I will take a picture and post it for you.
This is too funny!!!!
And as far as being one of Dysons Ex wives....exactly how many
have you had? LOLOL...
sheri
This is the first time I have 'tuned in' to this forum - gee what I have been missing ! Who needs the comic strips (do they still call them that??? ) when you have sheri's thread? I want some of those broom hairs to plant ! I can see me being the only Mississippi girl with 'MI Broom Hairs' planted along side my daylilies. Gee, how tall do they get???
Libby
hi Libby
I am back...I just threw my back out last weekend bending over while sitting
down to scissor the edges around my beds. What a nightmare! not the back,
but the beds!!!!
ok is you listed on the seed savers exchange with your name and addy?
I will send you some of those quadzillion broom hairs. "Gua-Ar-E-Tead"
to Garow. : )
I lived in south carolina and never lost my new york accent. lol.
