Last year I planted some for my mom and she munched on fresh sweet peas. But, this year (she is 83) she said they used to plant some that were Bush type when she was a young girl. Anyone know the name of these or where I can get some/order seed? Or is it too late for my zone?
Thanks for any help you can give.

Anyone know where I can get some edible Bush type peas?
Can't help w/ the zone, but it could well be "Little Marvel" from 1908. You can see it in PlantFiles: http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/62328/index.html
Baker Creek and Southern Exposure both carry it, and so does my local seed company (Wetsels).
Hope it works out for you...
Zeppy,
Thank you.. every time I did a search for them, the fragrant flower peas came up. Will look up Baker Creek and Southern Exposure ..
Thanks again.

I don't know about your zone, but I could send you a dozen or so of the Little Marvel if you would like to give them a try!
Just send me a d-mail and they are yours.
Thank you Sequee....!!!!
Sending you a D-mail right now..
You're packed up and ready to go. I added a few Garden Pea Dual, as well. Very tasty, semi-vining!
Enjoy!
ditto little Marvel
