Hi everyone:
Sorry no photo to help you but I will try to be descriptive. My home faces south and I get full sun all day in the front. I am looking to replace a tree the builder planted that died in year two of the home (I’m in year 3). The planting site is about 10-12 feet from the home, on the southeast front corner. Ideally I’d like to have something with pretty spring flowers and nice foliage color in the fall. My home is mostly dark tan with green shutters. I kicked around the idea of a tulip tree but I read it takes too long to make flowers. Any ideas or additional questions to help with your hints/suggestions would are most welcome. Thanks!
~Mike
