Hi All:
Is Rosemary a good companion for blueberries? I relocated some blueberry plants to a new raised bed. They weren't doing well where they were at.
I have some extra room in the bed and would like to relocate some rosemary there.
Good or bad idea?
Thanks
BB
Blueberry Companion
Blueberries need an acidic soil, Ph 5+/- 0.5. What are the pH requirements for Rosemary.
I need to check.
Thanks
BB
Not going to work....Needs soil on the akaline side
Basil likes low pH. Carrots, tomatoes, sorrel, winter squash, rhubarb, peppers, cukes, corn, eggplant, dill, garlic, melon, cauliflower all can take acidity down to 5.5.
But the lowest are potatoes and peanuts and (I think) strawberries. They love acidity.
