Hi, everybody--
I am wondering if anyone has tried wintersowing a combination of two or three kinds of flowers or vegetables directly into a container/pot/windowbox and then covering them with a big baggie and letting them grow out right in the pot?
maybe several herbs together, or lobelia and petunias...?
Seems like it would work, but has anyone tried it or have examples?
Happy wintersowing! t.
Wsowing Combination plants in Containers?
You know...that is a great idea!
fantastic idea :)

Well, I went ahead and sowed some parsley (two kinds), basil and cilantro in a window box. Want to add some cute little flowers, too....
Next I'm going to do common sage with some other blue leaved annuals...
I just found this explanation on Poojer's site for combinations in containters
http://www.wintersown.org/wseo1/Container_Gardening.html
Makes a lot of sense.
I think it's an awesome idea! Can't wait to see the final outcome when you have your combo container overflowing with flowers, herbs, or veggies!
