Biosphere Nursery in Winter Park

Has anyone visited this nursery and can give me feedback if it is worth the trip.

Have not visited but the owner just gave a good talk at The Villages Garden Club. The literature is interesting. They focus on native plants and reforestation. Karen

Thanks Karen - I sent off and received literature on them last year and just recently found out that they are open all week now to the public. There prices seem great on plants and I thought of getting a group together and taking a field trip up there one day.

There are so many places I want to visit. Just moved to Florida 5 months ago.

It just must be better than gardening in New England clay and rock.

Karen - my yard is 6 to 8 inches of sand then clay & rock - so I'm learning to amend like crazy - only thing is everything I add to the sand seems to disappear after a year or so - I think I have a slow variety of quicksand that is sucking up all the good compost I keep adding ;-)
