though i'd post some pics of flowers in the front yard.
detrick
blooming in tucson
tucsonplumeriaz - is that Detrick?? Can't remember now. Anyway, these pics are nice. Looks like you're a daisy kinda guy.
Now, would you step back a bit and give us a pic of the whole? I'd like to see how it all looks together.
Mary
Detrick, all very pretty! Your yard? Or were you hiking?
Thanks, D!
mary - yeah, it's detrick. i'll try and grab a pic of the yard. not much to see as a whole. it's more interesting when you look at niches around the yard.
fish_knees - i was hiking through my yard. LOL
i've been casting wildflower seed that i've collected from kitt peak, ua campus and tucson, and the canyons in the catalina mountains. so much stuff is coming up now. it should be quite nice come spring. i need to put up the fence soon as the neighborhood dogs are tearing up the place. oh what i wouldn't do to have marvin the marsian's vaporizer gun!
Wow, D- beautiful! Is all the predator poo in the yard fertilizing them too? ;-D
But seriously- it's so cool that you gathered your seed from the wild instead of pouring them out of a seed packet. I applaud you.
thanks for taking a look. hope you enjoyed your visit. i'll stop now before i wear out my welcome. LOL
D, Darlin, you could never wear out your welcome! I LOVE that dark purply-blue one :)
Wow! Great flowers, thanks for the pics. I like the daisy one very much.
If you ever get your hands that vaporizer, I want to borrow it for the 2 legged critters.
D, awesome pictures what is the blue flower?
the blue flower is a california bluebell. i'll try and collect seeds when they're ready.
love the blue bells! they are popping up in my yard now too. one of my favorite wild flowers. nice pics detrick. thanks for sharing!
