Such a beautiful little flower! What is that long thing hanging beside it? Is it a loofa?

Yes, it is a loofah.

A loofah? What's that? A pod?

Niceville, FL(Zone 8b)

Loofah sponge, like you bath with.

Oh, what a beautiful vine. Can I ask if you have any extra seeds from it? I would just love to grow such a beautiful flower. Thanks

Crystal

Are you talking about the mexican flame vine. While it produces seeds, most are sterile. Usually cultivated by cuttings.

Oh no! I have seeds and was soooo looking forward to growing them this spring. Anyone have any luck growing from seed?

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

I have had it come up in potted plants and in the yard so maybe not as sterile as believed to be

whew--thanks Donna!

Well, if all else fails, SelectSeeds has them pretty cheap. Their plants are well-rated, as I can attest. (Looks like I didn't resist temptation after all...)
