Hi, I collected the dried heads of my Purple Coneflower. Being new at seed collecting I am having trouble identifying the actual seeds though. Here is a photo of everything on a white paper. If someone could please 'photo shop' a little red arrow or circle the actual seed, I would surely appreciate it. Or is it all garbage, with no seeds? Next photo is of the flowers actually in bloom in case that helps.
Thank you, thank you, mich
Need Help Identifying The Actual Purple Coneflower Seeds

There you go. Hope the link helps.
In your picture, there are 4 little shuttlecock shaped things on the middle left side...those are the seeds in your image.
Thank you so much for your help. I didn't even think about looking for seed pictures in plantfiles. How great is that, very helpful. I'll look there first in the future.
Keyi,
I also have a hard time with the coneflower seed cleaning, and the rudbeckia and the gaillardia. So much chaff to search through.
