Wow - I can't even imagine the amount of work that foes into that. Looks great! The deer counter is a cool idea.

Our big display:

And every year one whole subdivision has a luminary display on Christmas night, so it had become our tradition to load up my van with all the nieces and nephews and our own kids and go all over looking at the lights. The adults stay at Grandma's and play cards. 4 years ago there were going to be too many kids for even 2 van-loads so the rest of the family passed the hat at Thanksgiving and rented me a big long van just for Christmas night, but I hated to drive that thing, so now they rent me a trolley. We sing carols, play games and eat cookies and have hot cocoa. Last year I had 17 kids from 3 to 19. Some are great nieces now, oy! But I wouldn't trade it for anything, I hate playing cards with the in-laws! And the kids all love their "Auntie G"!!

White Lake, ON(Zone 4b)

What great memories you're making Auntie G!

Merrimac, WI(Zone 4b)

Since Gayle mentioned her being "Auntie G,” I’m wondering how many of us have special Grandma/Aunt nicknames? I'm "Aunt Jo Jo,” or "Aunt Jo" (no grandkids, yet.)

So I don't hijack this thread, please answer in the UMW Coffee break thread: [HYPERLINK@davesgarden.com]: http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/557315/
