Happy Easter?

I may not have had many lilies survive the spring weather or the Easter Bunnies, but this Easter Lily I popped into the ground died & came back to bloom today. Happy Easter anyone?

Gee, Maybe I have found a way to skip winter and go right back to spring????

Hope you manage that, Wanda. Can up some for me also.

My easter lilies are also blooming now. I noticed yesterday that another plant has buds just emerging, but doubt if it will survive frost till bloom.
Full moon on the 19th and if we get past that it will be another month of frost free weather I hope!!

Maxine, do your Easter lilies winter over? I'm wondering if I should dig it or just let it go to sleep.

Wanda, the ones that I planted last fall came thru the past winter just fine. Of course they are on the back side of the house surrounded with woods and close to the house. Heat from basement walls probably help.
Also planted my one and only Silk Road there and it came thru the winter ok too. Time will tell, though.

It was an easy winter. The farmer's almanac is predicting a cold & snowy one this year. I'll just mulch the heck out of everything & hope that works.
