Hi all - If you have a moment, would you mind checking out my post on the Identification Forum. I have some weird Fluff ball bug walking around on my camellia. As it may be a "Florida thing" you all may be the experts I need.

Interesting Vee8ch - thanks for the reply. I believe my guy is the larva of a brown or green lacewing. The lacewing larva have two prominent pinchers in front. http://www.uky.edu/Agriculture/CritterFiles/casefile/insects/lacewings/lacewings.htm They cover themselves with the remains of their prey. My guy has the pinchers. The tortoise beetle larvae is a more round, fat thing with spines all over and no pinchers. http://insects.tamu.edu/fieldguide/bimg195.html
