Mutisia?

Floresville, TX(Zone 9a)

Anyone heard of or know anything about Mutisia? I got one from ebay recently and can't seem to find much info about it.

Capistrano Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

"Highly overated half hardy, evergreen, scrambling climber that owes its reputation to the colour illustration in the RHS Dictionary of Garden Plants. Covered in woolly white fibrous hairs that attract water drops which then cause rot and die back and the whole genus has the unfortunate habit of holding dead leaves instead of dropping them which gives them a very sad appearance. Thin lanceolate grey leaves with tendrils at the tip, medium sized orange flowers in summer are a delight and although temperamental the show is good enough to encourage me to persevere."

Actually the flowers on the one I got are a red-pink and there is sparse hair lol... although the dead leaf holding thing is quite evident.

Which species did you buy, Indigoez? If it is one of the Chilean species, maybe I can find the info you need.
