Thanks! Now I will have to go back out and check with my nose! Many have a nice smell....outside. They can be a bit much in an enclosed space.

We have many Orientals and these humid days bring out the fragrance. I LOVE them indoors but after a few days it can be a bit much!

I have anosmia (some loss of the sense of smell) so a strong fragrance like that pleases me... I can smell it!

WOW! One is more gorgeous than the next! I would have a hard time picking a favorite!! Which is your favorite one???

'Silk Road' is a gorgeous lily!! It looks quite a bit like one of my favorites --- 'Triumphator'.

I feel the same as you: just can't play favorites with Orientals.

Whichever is blooming today pretty much...though my favorites are the dangly martagon types and the species lilies...(Of which I have very few)

the golden splendor is huge -- bigger across than my outstretched fingers...but overall thinner petals than say Casa Blanca...kind of spidery with dark freckles
