rangoon creeper

I just had to have this plant...I was simply going to perish without it! LOL Anyone in 8 or 8b have luck with it in the ground? I hear if you baby them the first couple of years and mulch like crazy they will survive. Any thoughts or tips?

I'd sure like to know the answer to this one, too! But mine is going in the GH until I know something!

They will survive in 8b in the ground...they are around Houston. I just don't know people who personally own it!

I have two of these growing in my Zone 9b..One is in the ground growing along my fence.Next pic is the one in a large pot..Bought this one recently..
