Anyone ever have a Fatsia just fold it's leaves like an umbrella? The lady I bought it from about 4 years ago said she believes it to be a fungus from what I've described. She said there's no hope; it's a spore in the soil. Have any of you ever gotten one to live after this happens? Or do you have a GUESS what to do?
Thanks,
Nancy
Wilted-looking Fatsia (fungus?) HELP! Ideas needed
Just wanted to update any of you interested. I cut most of the leaves off, dug up the fatsia plants, put bleach water on their roots for a few minutes; rinsed it off & replanted them.
THEY"RE DOING GREAT now!!
I'm glad it recovered! Fatsia are such great plants -- they grow really quickly and give such a tropical look to the garden.
