'Kingswood Gold'

Baltimore, MD(Zone 7a)

This is becoming one of my favorites...it always looks good in the summer and late summer garden. Talinum paniculatum 'Kingswood Gold'. It also reseeds so much you never have to worry about not having it.

It's lovely! Plus, it really pops out in a shady corner of the garden!

I love this plant. Your right you'll never be without it once you let it go to seed. It will pop up everywhere next year but is easy to remove if you don't want it in a certain place. You can dig the large tuber roots and replant it as a bonsai houseplant for the winter of course you have to cut it back some. I've overwintered mine as a houseplant and it did fine. Your pot if beautiful just take it in and don't forget to leave any little crawling "things" out side.

Thanks for the idea...I never thought of bringing it in. I love your (perilla?) and black mondo grass with it. great contrast. I will have to think of that next year. It really does reseed alot but I love it..always looks good. How much do you cut back when you bring it in? does it bloom inside? thought is was an annual.
