I love this plant. Your right you'll never be without it once you let it go to seed. It will pop up everywhere next year but is easy to remove if you don't want it in a certain place. You can dig the large tuber roots and replant it as a bonsai houseplant for the winter of course you have to cut it back some. I've overwintered mine as a houseplant and it did fine. Your pot if beautiful just take it in and don't forget to leave any little crawling "things" out side.
