Okay, here's one that threw me off this year. My oriental lillies have been really beautiful the past two years since they were planted. This year, though, most of them bloomed all white and with little, if any, fragrance about them.
Is that "normal"??? Have I failed to fertilize properly (I have to admit, this garden area has been somewhat neglected as we are getting ready to do some majot landscaping/paving changes in that area)

A little added info ...
These are (I believe) the "Stargazer" type oriental lillies. I now have the more fully colored, fragrant blooms now opening on the same stalks which started out this month all white. This was NOT the case last year. Is this just the nature of some lillies or ... what?
