Luminaries?

The photo below is what mine looks like. Pretty much a plain looking yellow lily. Yesterday I could see a faint hint of the red markings in the throat before it totally opened. Not today. Wonder if it just the heat? It came from Wayside Gardens. Notice they don't have them now.

I'd write to Wayside and tell them, even send a photo and they should give you a refund - tell them you want one because it's not as shown in their catalog. They probably have a lot of complaints. It's what their guarantee is all about.

We've bought from the same man, a horticulturist, for over 12 years now, and I've heard him say that he doesn't pay for anything that is labeled wrong or doesn't bloom as expected. He gets refunds on roses, perennials, etc. He has his own nursery now and is so reliable!
