This lovely Oriental is new to me this year. The coloring is very similar to Stargazer, but is slightly down facing and 8 inches across.

I love the wide white band on the lily above... very nice. Bet she is fragrant, too ??

Stargazer is not given much credit which I think is wrong. It is fantastically fragrant and pretty, too. I love them.

I agree. I don't think I've met a lily I didn't like, but Stargazers are my first love. Had 'em for 10 years. They are probably one of the first that the general public came to know by name ~ maybe they're 'old hat' to some but they have the most prized location in my garden.
