Just wanted to thank everyone for the warm welcomes to DG and share some sunshine!
I went to the Oaks show this past weekend with the friend that introduced me to DG & lilies. It was the most amazing & beautiful thing I've seen. I took some great photos & thought I'd share some with you (since I don't have any of my own to brag about yet).

I took over 60 pics & tried to write the names down as I took them. If there are any specific ones you'd like to see, let me know. Maybe I'll have them. Celeste also took some photos, if we're real sweet to her, perhaps she'll post some of hers too.... :-)
I took this photo at Jim Spencer's daylily farm (Mountain Vista Farm). It's just a few minutes from Oaks.
I had never seen a $150 flower until this past weekend.
I think he called it 'Don Harold', but I'm not sure.
This one was also Mr. Spencer's, but he wasn't selling any of these.
It caught my eye right away. He called it 'Rave On'.
Very pretty!!
I bought a double-fan of this for $10. I think I got a pretty good deal.
It's called 'Elizabeth's Magic'. The ruffle on the outside sparkles like glitter.
I picked this one up too.
It's called 'Siloam Bubblegum'.
It's bloom isn't as large as the other one, but it's very pretty.
I couldn't resist a shot of Mitch & Nicholas playing Hide & seek at Oaks.
They were good as gold to have spent so much time in the sun & flowers w/ their moms.

TNS ~ yes, copy and paste. Make sure there is a space between your last word and the link. I usually like to 'preview' so I'm sure it shows up as a link and it takes you where you want to go.

Oakes is a wonderful place and we have many of their plants. Nice people and very generous.
