Amorphophalus 'Konjac'

I have had Konjac for many years (or parts of it anyway) and it has NEVER flowered. It comes up very late (not up yet) and has the beautiful umbrella leaves and purple mottling on the stem. Is there anything I can do to get it to bloom?? It died away from it's original spot and a tiny one came up and I transplanted that and now have several smaller ones around. It is supposed to be hardy to zone 7 I believe.
