How do I tell the difference between white mulberry trees and black mulberry trees? Oh, and what's the best way to propagate?

From what I could tell off of Forest Farms it is the color of the berries, the alba have white beries and when the balck have well balck berries. There are slos a few reports that the white suckers really bad from the roots. Hope this helps, Mitch
