Whats blooming where you live?
Boy, my catmint isn't blooming yet. I did find some buds on my daylilies though and have tons of columbine blooming.
COOL Tree_Climber!
notmartha,
Is that "Rare Treat" in your first Iris photo? I just got a start of that one, and have one bloom, it was HUGE and georgeouse.
I also just picked up a clump of "Petite Monet" at our local Garden Day, on Sunday .... I can't find any information on it, but it looks a lot like the one in your "field" and "row 2 bed 1". Could I be so lucky to be right, and you can tell me something about it...
I also picked up a couple of other unknown Irises at Garden Day ..... they were just calling my name and I couldn't say no.
Dori, your irises are just beautiful. Lucky you to have so many beauties.
Tree Climber, I really like that Iris. "Good Show"
Where did you pick that up, and what else can ya tell me about it?
Nick
'Good Show' is 35" mid-season bloomer. It was awarded the American Iris Society Honorable Mention '91and Award of Merit '95
I got mine at a local Nursery.
It's in the plant files, with several photos.

this is my rock garden.....It is the only complete garden in my whole yard and I am very pleased with it this year. Does anyone know what the little pink flowers are? They come back every year but the last year they got bugs of some kind and it killed off half of it. I know it will come back after a few but I would like to know if I could make it faster. If anybody can help, Thank you in advance!
Your rock Garden is really beautiful scoobysuey.

Those are "Pinks" or Dianthus but I don't know what variety they are.
I love rock gardens. Mine is pretty small though.
Yours is very nice! :))

Scooby, (And Cottage),
I am pretty sure those "pinks" are some kind of Portulaca, maybe purslane. The are usually annual, but I think they reseed and even winter over sometimes. :)
Nick
I think they are a dianthus-reds(maybe called ruby reds) I have them too! will take pic tomorrow!!! im beat again!!!
Doh! After taking a second look it turns out I was looking at the second picture with the "pinks" in it. :P The first picture is clearly Dianthus.. been a long day ;)
